Drush Ultimate Basic Cheat Sheet

  1. Setup Drush: Download drush from https://git.drupalcode.org/project/drush.git
    Make the ‘drush’ command executable: $ chmod u+x /path/to/drush/drush
    create a symbolic link to the Drush executable in a directory that is already in your PATH, e.g.: $ ln -s /path/to/drush/drush /usr/bin/drush
    Run Following Commands.
  2. drush pmi <module-name> : Display primary info of drupal modules
  3. drush dl <module-name> : Download Particular drupal module
  4. drush en <module-name> : Enable/Install drupal module
  5. drush dis <module-name> : Disable drupal module
  6. drush uninstall <module-name> : Uninstall drupal module (Delete data from database so cross check module name before run this command)
  7. drush upwd --password=”newpassword" “drupal-user” : Change drupal user password with drush command
  8. drush watchdog-show --tail : To view drupal logs on terminal

  Procedure to convert .iso image to .qcow2 images is as beow No any direct command avai lable to convert .iso to .qcow2 image so first convert it into raw image then raw image can be convert into qcow2 form. First Create a VDI image using VirtualBox:  Create VM (In Virtual Box) using .iso image with VDI Hard disk file type as shown in below Choose Hard disk Fie type 3.  Convert .vdi to raw format:  Now you can convert .vdi format to raw format using the  VBoxManage  command-line tool that ships with VirtualBox. Configuring Shared Folders in VMWare Workstation with a UBUNTU Guest OS and Windows Host

  Start VMWare Workstation, then power on Ubuntu guest OS Go to settings and choose select options tab ->shared Folderes go to settings->options->Shared folders 3. Add shared folder created on the windows machine with full access and should be always enabled choose Shared Folder 4. Go to guest OS (Ubuntu 18.0) and run the below commands (Install apt install open-vm-tools if not avialable) #sudo mount -t fuse.vmhgfs-fuse .host:/ /mnt/hgfs -o allow_other # vmware-hgfsclient #sudo mount -t fuse.vmhgfs-fuse .host:/ /mnt/hgfs -o allow_other # vmware-hgfsclient 5.
